If you didn’t catch the pictures over on Flickr a few weeks ago, here’s my custom Blamo Toys Swampy for Blamo Toys 3rd Annual Custom Toy Show – aka The Epic Adventures of Swampy McSwamperton that took place at Million Fishes Gallery in San Francisco on November 17th. Blamo makes some of the most unique art toys on the market- if you haven’t heard of them you should definitely check out their stuff. I think wood toys are really cool, so when I was invited to paint a Swampy for the show I was all over it. The show had a great line-up of artists and there are still a lot of nice pieces left, if you’re interested in purchasing my Totem Swampy head over to the Blamo Store.

Here’s my custom ThreeA severed Popbot head for the I Am Legion show happening at 1AM Gallery in San Francisco on November 4th. If you’re not familiar with ThreeA Toys, in-conjunction with Ashley Wood they produce some really cool “future war” toys. Even though I’m still trying to keep my show schedule to a minimum, when I was invited to participate in this show I eagerly agreed. I was a fan of Ashley’s artwork before the toys came around so it’s quite an honor to be a part of this. The official show flyer is below- there’s a great line-up of artists and from what I’ve seen of the finished pieces that are popping up on the web, this show should be quite impressive.
